This policy explains how Delivr Logistics Limited (“Delivr”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and looks after personal information through our website, delivr.nz, and when you contact us. We handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you send an enquiry or quote request, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, business name, phone number, email address, the type of enquiry, your message, and the page you sent it from. If you apply for sponsorship, call or email us, we collect the details you choose to share.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, cookies and similar tools collect information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the device and browser you use, your approximate location, and how you found us (for example, whether you clicked one of our ads).
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes and provide our services.
- To understand how people use our website so we can improve it.
- To measure whether our advertising works, for example how many enquiries come from an ad.
- To show our ads to people who have visited our website.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Analytics and advertising tools
Our website uses these third-party tools, which set cookies or similar technology:
- Google Analytics: shows us how visitors use the site.
- Google Ads: tells us when someone who clicked one of our Google ads sends an enquiry. When you send an enquiry, your email address and phone number are scrambled (hashed) in your browser before being sent to Google, so Google can match the enquiry to an ad click. Google cannot read the original details from the scrambled version.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram): tells us when visitors from our Meta ads view pages or send an enquiry, and lets us show our ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited our website.
- Google Tag Manager: the tool we use to load the above on our site.
You can limit this tracking:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Manage Google ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Manage your Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it:
- with our team members who need it to help you;
- with service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, email and the analytics and advertising tools listed above;
- where the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights; and
- with a buyer if our business is sold, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Some of these providers, including Google and Meta, store and process information outside New Zealand, including in the United States. They are large international companies with their own privacy and security obligations.
How we store and protect it
We take reasonable steps to keep personal information secure and limit access to people who need it. We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, provide our services and keep proper business records, and then delete them. No internet transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us online.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email us at [email protected] and we will respond as soon as we can, and within the time the Privacy Act requires.
If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the effective date at the top.
